proserpina will tell you that she values the jade for its profit and market value, and perhaps she even believes it herself in the shallower parts of her personality. however, the truth carries much heavier meaning than petty wealth. see, she admires the semi-precious stones; their purity and simple clarity representing all that she wishes to be. to not be tarnished by the truth of the world, by the reality of 'peace', by the lure of power and greed, by the pleasure of the kill. however, proserpina happens to be more bad than good, and is certainly not a fluffy little kia. it is just that sometimes she pauses, wondering, considering, if it is all worth it. then the darkness wins over, and the rebellion of peace is gone if she finds a cracked or spotted piece of jade, then she hides it away, dumping it in a river or hole, so no one may never need to look on its imperfection again. this trait is more of a calculated and logical approach though, and comes from her willingness to accept nothing but the best; from both herself and others. quite simply, she is a very mixed up kia. |
